Working On The Bugs.

In a Torah observant lifestyle there is no room for bugs, certainly not in diet.

Well to say the least, We have had a number of problems with working out all the glitches. We have a number of times programs had not aired when scheduled and times when there has been no programing airing at all.

Please pray for out glitches and those see us as a glitch and that they see the truth of our work. Pray that the Torah speaks clearly in all we do.

Expanding Our Horizons

As we expand our horizons...

I am at the NAB, National Association of Broadcasters and talking about what web radio is. I have worked for over 25 years in broadcasting. Yet I have never done an Internet Only Radio Station. I have been learning over the weeks and days from many different people, even before the convention.

There is much we still need to do to bring Messianic Voice dot Com Radio up to hyper speed. But like many things in life just moving forward with what you have is all you can do.

We're still looking for more content. But as the number of listens goes up we hope to hear from them. We hope to get lots of feedback and input as it can make a difference.

We're excited about the Future and the possibilities.

Dr James Scott Trimm Joins the List of Programers.

We are exited that to add to our list of programs, Dr. James Scott Trimm. He has a lot to offer to our listeners.

Two programs he will be producing are a talk show in a conversational format and preaching program, where he will share about the Torah in his own style.

We have many other projects in the works.

We are excited as we get feed back...

We have heard from a number of our listeners about Messianic Voice Radio. We are working to improve things constantly.

We look to the future of Radio as being through the internet.

Right now companies are looking at ways for Internet audio to made available to the consumers via portable devices, hence phones. The I-phone has some capability and the Black Berry storm has some too. There are other sources as well with phones. Terrestral Radio's days are numbered. Content will be king.

We are working with some of those companies to bring our Internet Radio station to everyone with a phone or to new phones soon we hope.

Racking Up The Program Library

Building up the library of programs can be tough. It certainly not quick work but I am moving forward during this testing phase.

It has it perks as I get to hear the content. A lot of great stuff coming up in the near future. We have a lot of stuff in the works in the near future for Messianic Voice. Now our goal is to start the process first.

I am still working on the scheduling process. In about a month I will be going to the National Association of Broadcasters in Las Vegas. There is a lot of great things to see and check out. I may even gets some hands on. Maybe I'll upgrade a piece of equipment. That all depends on what it is and how much it cost.

Another Brick In The Wall...

A wall is build one brick at a time. Even when there is a lot experts involved in a job; it can still take a while doing something.

We continue to increase our content and find new possible sources for content. We are also working on understanding all we can do with Internet radio

Messianic Voice has two unique things about it.

1. We have a narrow window of content we can allow. Many wonderful people out there would like to be a part of what we do. But for one reason or another we have to sadly tell them no.
2. Because our work is unique in nature we must work at providing the best we can with the resources we have.

With all the said, we are still excited about the work. We know what Messiah meant by the words he spoke regarding the harvest.

"Then said he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plentiful, but the labourers are few;" Mark 9:37

"Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray you therefore YHVH of the harvest, that he would sends forth labourers into his harvest." Luke 2:10

Working on the over all Sound.

We all have an idea about somethings and how that should be. I am currently striving to give the public a good product for our Internet radio station.

Putting forward our best foot and moving forward much like mention in the Nazarene Text of Philippians. "Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before," Philippians 3:13

So despite the fact that I am working to hone in on the best way to present our station to listen ears. I keep moving forward. Your prays are welcome regarding all we do. Soon the stream will be ready for you to hear. Yah willing.

Testing The Stream

Currently we are testing with a stream of audio. We are not please with everything about it and are working on it. We are slowly adding more content from the few programmers that have made available content. Second we are working out the format of our overall sound.

So far all our tests technical wish have finally worked out well. Our audio server is working well and will now auto restart should power fail and then return. We are still having some issue with volume levels staying where they need to be.

If the volume is to high the audio levels get distorted and then our listen will hear bad sound.

I am happy to say we can now remotely control the system to post stuff as needed, or address other issue that might come up.

As always we look forward to officially notifying the public that they can now listen. We hope that our testing to perfection will live a quality product to the public.

We are in constant prayer that Yahweh prepares the hearts of those we will reach with this Internet only station.

Working out the little bumps and stuff from before.

Over Two years ago we started this project. It was exciting then, but it seems the time wasn't right. It took others to get the vision of what it could be. Now the excitement has grown again as other have come on board.

There were those who didn't like some of what we wanted to see. I feel bad for them, as we don't screen content, certainly not as closely as we might now. We still aren't screening that close.

We do run into the issue of music and not playing anything that is copy written with SEASAC, ASCAP, BMI. There are large fees to pay if you play any music that falls into that category. Only stuff that is a library that has unlimited uses, and can be used for what ever purpose.

Myself I have Adobe Audition. It is audio editing software that comes with tracks and music, along with instrumentation that can be used for whatever purpose. It can be arranged and mix to do all kinds of stuff with it. It is idea for anyone who wants to do programing on the Internet and have music to blend things without getting socked in the gut with fees down the road.

So in a closing phase, we are in the testing phase now. We hope soon to inform everyone that they can listen. We are looking for more content, contact if you have any, also ideas are always welcome. Prayer for the projected is always welcome and coveted.

Working on My Latest Project.

My work is in the radio business. I am very aware of where the industry is going. I see the future as all digital and not by any means terrestrial.

What do I mean. I will go on the record saying regular radio is going to change as we know it. The beginnings of it on now available. Content will be king and access over the Internet via terrestrial signals or via the regular Internet will how radio is received.

No one will listen on a portable radio, they will use their phone, or what will be an all in one device. Phone, camera, radio, music, video, book reader, portable computer, and anything else you want it to be. Japan is already doing much of that. I'm sorry to say we in the USA are behind at least a generation in technology. China, Japan, Singapore, etc. are way ahead.

But don't be disheartened by this news, only keep in mind that technology is fleeting. The real truth is ideas that matter and how you present them.

Truth is also fleeting unless you have a strong sources to draw from. Find them and hang on to them and they will the anchors in you life you need. It's also OK to find a new one everything once now and then, just have a few that are strong enough to hold during any time.

What I am working on is an Internet radio station called Messianic Voice. Torah based yet acknowledging who messiah is. I know many Jews can understand it; how the Torah does point to messiah. What is the problem for most Jews is they can't accept who I feel is the messiah.

I didn't grow up as a Jew even thou I knew I was one. Later in life I found I needed more in my life. I could have avoided so many problem is I had been Torah Observant.

Needless to say I am in the throngs of getting this new Internet Only radio station up and running. It is all Talk and no music to include anything that would require paying royalties.

It is a project we are trying to keep within budget and playing music would require potential thousands of dollars in royalty fees.

We do invite you to check out the site, but we are just testing it right now. We hope within a week or so to post an announcement that we are ready for the public.

The testing phase is exciting as we know all the problems that can happen and we look to ways to prevent them. We also have had a streaming problem for a week, this is all new to our office and so we need to get thru this stage. Who knows were it will leed to and that is exciting too.
